Zenita Lee was born and raised in the small rural village of Grand Bay in Dominica. Grand Bay is considered the cultural capital of Dominica boasting a deep history of our African culture and heritage. Zenita spent 19 years there before leaving to migrate to the United States. She was a teacher at the Tete Morne Primary School for two years. She strongly believes in imparting knowledge on the young minds of the future. She is the author of “ Once Upon a Time in Dominica “ and the upcoming book “ A Fight to Freedom”
